Ok so my AVG software caught and quarantined 3 viruses that i got from freaking stumbleupon (i know right?!) So anyways i deleted them and i am able to connect to the internet on firefox because i saw on google to change my internet options to no proxy or something like that...but i still cant use internet explorer or play my online game combat arms...something about my connection was refused or something like that ....help :(

Should I fight a NYC Fare Evasion Ticket?

My friend and I entered the 8th Street-NYU subway station. There was no metrocard machine, and my friend was short on his fare. In an effort to avoid missing an approaching train we entered the turnstile together, using a swipe from my unlimited card (which I purchased two days prior to this event). Two officers saw us, and ticketed us both for fare evasion. Technically only one fare, my friend's, was evaded. Do I have a case, or does aiding in evasion carry the same fine? What is the best laptop I can get for ~500 pounds?

My birthday is coming up, my 18th, and I've been told to expect to receive in the region of �500. I'm pretty happy with that, and I plan to take advantage of it by getting myself a decent new laptop. However, I'm not the most tech or bargain savvy. I just know I want something with decent RAM because I like to run for example my browser, word processor and media player at the same time, even my webcam sometimes too. I really have to recommend Carvin's Acoustic Cobalt series. Their lowest model is about $490, fits right in your price range. Carvin operates their own factories to make their guitars, aka they sell direct, as opposed to retailing, so their guitars cost much less than they're worth. I have an upper range Cobalt and it's the best acoustic guitar I've ever played. It obviously won't compete with a high end Martin, but these guitars really are high up there. Definitely much better than any $500 guitar you'll find at guitar center. I seriously recommend you check them out.

I am a 21 year old man and just recently, I was involved in a police chase. While riding my motorcycle I was clocked by a police officer at 97mph. When I saw him behind me on the freeway, I panicked and drove faster. I panicked because my license was suspended do to missing a payment of my restitution. I had two driving without a license after it was suspended, two trucks taken from me and I was scared to lose another vehicle. I have a job with a school district and I am a full time student in a criminal justice program. I also have a girlfriend who I had planned on asking to marry me, although I am not exactly sure when. I took him two exits, then turned around and two exits back. I started pulling off the freeway and my engine blew, causing smoke and fire to my motorcycle. I was then very cooperative and the CHP officer even allowed me to sit in the front seat. I was in jail from 5-28-2011 until 6-2-2011. I was released on bail. My bail was $50,000 so ten percent at $5,000. I am being put up for Felony of evading the police and misdemeanor of reckless driving. When I spoke to my public defender, he told me that they have an offer for 1 year in county. He told me that he would be able to reduce that to 6 months in county or we can take it to trial and it can possibly be dismissed or I can spend time in a state prison. I was caught on camera running from the police but I have been told that even if it does go to trial I can get the time at least reduced. What are my best options at this point? I want to hire a defense attorney but I am unsure if that will end up being a waste of money or would it ultimately benefit me? Also, what can i do to ensure they are persuaded that I am trying my best to turn my ways around. I have no priors, and this is my first major offense. I will do community service, take driving classes, continue in school, as well as get another job to bring my financial situation to a better place. I was in one of those depressing days when everything goes wrong at work. All went wrong that day and I live alone in another town. I rented an apartment above owners house and his family. Not trollin, but honestly is it illegal to fake a medical clearance form?

It's so stupid. I lightly injured my toe and had to lay off cheer and PE for a while. Now it's the end of the year, and I missed my PE final which is worth 10% of my grade, and my cheer coach won't let me practice until I get a medical clearance note. Which by the way takes ages to set up an appointment for (minimum of 2 weeks) and school ends in 4 days, while cheer camp is in 9 days, and mandatory cheer practices to learn the dance in-I'm invalid for. Please help. The form is so simple to recreate, an elementary kid can do it. Is it illegal? Should I just do it? Or should I go to urgent care to get it signed even though I'm not hurt? I feel like that's taking away from other injured people who really need the help.

I believe that this trait is very useful, but, as all things do, it has downsides. I can relate to some of the things you have described, being objective and frank sometimes works way better then being a little less harsh. Saying what you feel, and lashing out can help you show your real self, and make boundaries that others did not know existed. But I believe that this is a good policy to live by, "If they can't accept you at your worst, then they don't deserve you at your best." Its a wonderful trait to poses, and many its rare to see, and own.

I am going to have to get a top secret clearance for the job I am going to be trying to get in the air force, kind of curious how it would work though since I am 18? I have been told by many many people that they will only go back to my 18th birthday(in my case). My neighbor double parks blocking her sidewalk and entry to my driveway, illegal?

I have a licensed day care in my home which is at the end of a cul-de-sac, my neighbor torn out her driveway and never replaced it and for almost 2 years has been parking across her driveway and double parking which blocks entry into my driveway. Parents dropping off children have to make an unusual deep curve to get around them but are unable to back out without fear of hitting their double parked cars. So i had a fish tank set up, and before i moved (for about a month) i gave my fish to someone and didnt do anything about the water (I know its bad, but it was so hectic moving i didnt have time). 1973 Jeep Wagoneer with sagging rear end?

I have a 1973 Jeep Wagoneer with the usual sagging rear end. I think the leaf springs are shot, I put brand new shocks on it all the way around, and it seems that every time I hit a bump or somthing like a speed bump, it feels as if the rear end all but bottoms out. It has a noticiable sag in the rear looking at it from a distance. I am wanting to put something more heavy duty underneath it, like leaf springs from a 3/4 ton pickup. I am not sure if this is doable or not, but the suspension they put on those Wagoneers are not the greatest. Any ideas on how to beef up the suspension without spending a lot of money? I dont want to lift it if I dont have to, at least not stick it way up in the air. A little clearance is ok but i am not looking to lift it. Thanks for the help!

Today I got wrongfully terminated from my job at JC Penney's?

I worked at JC Penney's and today I saw called into the office to talked to 2 lost prevention ladies. I was never told that employee's couldn't return merchandise without receipt, and several current employee's agree that we were never told that. Anytime I would return those items I would tell the returning associate that I use my 20% discount card and it was on sale/clearance. I never keep receipt because I shop almost everyday and it's hard to keep track of all the receipts. But they can look up receipt if you use a credit card and I always use my Visa card. I make sure to ask them to look up my rceipt and they never want to because they're lazy, so they just give me a return voucher. Apprently the amount on the return voucher has been more than I payed for them originally, and I have let the returning associate know that, however I was unaware that I was suppose to let them call a supervisor to adjust the price. So I explain everything to my mananger today in the meeting and he said he had to let me go. Are there different security clearances for each aircraft in the Navy if you are an AE or AT?

I am currently enlisted in the Navy in the AV program or Avionics. I know that after bootcamp I will get assigned either the AE or AT rating. Turn Win 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot?

i have been trying all software that deal with internet sharing via wireless adapter, ranging from Connectify, VirtualAP, Dell Laptop to Hotspot Converter and some plenty more but I still fail to get the effect i need. am using Dell Latitude D63o with Win 7 Ultimate SP1 installed, for my internet am using a Huawei E220 3G Modem provided by Zain (now Airtel) with unlimited access. When I tried using Connectify, it kept on conflicting with the modem drivers, the remaining software don't seem to find my internet connection, I only get a '' on the internet connection display box so i cant share a connection through any of the remaining software. using Windows 7 Adhoc networking is also so inconvenient because whenever i protect my connection with a password, other computers fail to establish full connectivity ( i only manage to share internet connection when the connection is insecure). I think my bromeliad is dead?

I bought it off the clearance rack it didn't look so good some of the ends were brown, but looked semi healthy. Two weeks ago I pulled the center out, and today i was pulling what I thought to be dead leaves and the whole bunch of leaves came off. Now it is just the center like the base it's brown. I'm guessing it is what held all the leaves together.? I haven't check the roots, but it hasn't been over watered or anything, so I don't know what could of happened. Any advice? My LMP was May 23 and my cycles range from 28(rare)-37(rare) days long with most of my cycles being about 33-35 days. My hubby and I did our little baby dance every day to every other during the week of June 6th-14th which should have been prime ovulating time. We were on vacation and in the ocean/pool every day all day so I didn't notice any stretchy/sticky cm but I do get it every single month! I do not temp. but I did use ovulation sticks and would get two lines but the test was never as dark as the control so either I missed my surge, my urine was too dilute or I didn't ovulate(which I doubt). I forget the exact date but around the 17th of this month I felt a sharp pinch on my right side and I was thinking ovulation or implantation. I took another OPK and got two lines again with the test still lighter than the control. Since then I have had cramping(especially on right side), alternating diarrhea and constipation, tiredness, increased urination, and still no period but the real kicker is my boob KILL! My boobs never hurt before my period but they kill on the sides, nipple is itchy and they feel fuller. Today is day 36 and still no period. I took a first response early pregnancy test this evening and it was negative. I will re-test in a couple days which feels like forever. I honestly feel pregnant. I have occasional bouts of some scant nauseous feeling but it never stays. Anyone else test negative with the early tests and still end up pregnant? what do you think? Please do not be rude and say "just test" because that is not what I am asking!

Singing range after puberty?

A lot of my friends and I are very curious about this. So I am 16, I had this high kiddy voice till about 14, then my voice really dropped. Now I can hit the really low notes, but the high ones do not feel as comfortable. My voice has a very deep undertone, but still sounds like a kid (that's the best way to describe it). Most of my friends that are my age have this same problem as well. Now I have an 18 year old friend who sings, and is done with puberty, and has a great range. Also, many of the bands I listen have singers that are about 20, such as a day to remember, blink 182, and four year strong. I know that NOW these signers are older, but plenty of the recordings and live videos i listen to they were in their early 20's, and could sing quite high. So what I am wondering is, after puberty, will my voice settle, and 'll regain the easier upper register i used to have. I know it wont be like my kiddie voice, but at least a better range again???

For the past few years I've been getting bills in the mail for someone with the same last name as me, but whom I do not know and who definitely does not live at my address. They are bills from student loans and, I believe, court costs. So in 2000 I sold a house for an estimated price of 1 million US dollars. I evaded my taxes and I thought I would never have a problem with it. I got a ticket back when I was 17 for eluding a police officer. Basically I was making a turn and the cop signaled me to go so I did. When I was making a turn he had told me to stop when I was in the middle of the intersection. I freaked out and went but pulled over to the side right by him. He got to my car and yelled at me and wrote me up a ticket for evading and eluding him. My Dad went to court with me and I told my story and the cop told the judge he did it for my safety but no one was around except for the cop, his partner and I. After I was getting yelled at, his partner said that he didn't think I did anything wrong and was watching the whole thing happen.I also asked him if another car was coming and he said no cars where coming.I then proceeded to tell his partner that I thought this was all awkward since I had just broken up with my boyfriend that morning who is also a cop. I told him who he was and asked if he knew him. He tells me that the officer that is giving me the ticket and my ex are friends!!! I lost the case because my father told me to just plead guilty since I was a minor and now I have this ticket. How long will it stay on my record??�
