Security clearance in Regular Army, Army Reserves, National Guard with an RE-3 is it possilbe?

is it possible to get a security clearance with an RE-3 if you've got college and other things that show stick to it'ivness on your record? thats all I want to know, nothing less. no need for you little self righteous opinions on not getting the code in the first place, I've kicked my self in the nuts enough as it is.And I want to right my wrong more than anything, what factors would keep me from getting cleared? my discharge was just general and my six month wait period is up.
